Life Care Center of Cheyenne is near all of the excitement and history that Cheyenne has to offer. For a day trip, we suggest:
- The Visit Cheyenne website offers easy access to information on local shopping, restaurants, lodging and attractions, as well as an events calendar.
- The Nagle Warren Mansion was built by wealthy grocery businessman Erasmus Nagle in 1888, at a time when Cheyenne was the richest city of its size in the world. Now a bed and breakfast, the mansion also offers tours, mystery dinners and their famous afternoon high tea, served by staff in full period costume.
- Cheyenne Frontier Days is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration, and it happens in Cheyenne every summer. It features music, bull riding, rodeo and children’s activities, as well as the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, which is open year round.
- The Cheyenne Depot Museum tells the story of the city of Cheyenne from its beginnings during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad.
